What is the price for a voyage?
Neptun is a nonprofit community where we share the expenses of the operation of the vessel. Due to different sailing areas, the price for our operation can vary, but we aim to keep the price stable.
The fee for sailing onboard (only for members) is divided into two amounts: one for the maintenance of the vessel, and one for food and operational variable expenses.
Exact prices for different legs are shown on each voyage page.

Can I get a job here?
Nonprofit Neptun pays only a small operations team and our seafaring core (captain, mates, and engineer) a modest salary far below commercial rates, in the spirit of a nonprofit. Everyone else, shoreside and onboard, is a volunteer. You are welcome to join our volunteer team or, if you have the right credentials, apply for one of our open onboard positions.
Can I be a volunteer?
You are always welcome to join our team of shoreside volunteers, or start a maritime project under the wings of Neptun. If you have professional credentials and you are ready for a long-term commitment, you can apply to become part of our professional crew.
