The Sail Training Crew is the biggest part of the Neptun Crew.
The Neptun Crew is a happy mix of professional seafarers who run our nonprofit organization and the Sail Training Crew, members of our organization. All crew join the ship to take on the challenge and develop skills in whatever position they sign on in!
You can sign on to Neptun as Sail Training Crew if you have no prior experience or if you already have experience with seafaring. As a Sail Training Crew you get to be a part of all aspects of the ship's operation, from steering, navigation and sail handling to dishwashing, rigwork and domestic duties.

Our professional crew aboard NEPTUN is composed of experienced sailors and maritime experts dedicated to ensuring a safe, enriching, and educational journey. Led by seasoned captains, each crew member is skilled in traditional seamanship, including navigation, sail handling, and weather interpretation. They are passionate about teaching, providing personalized guidance to all participants, regardless of their sailing experience, fostering both confidence and teamwork.
